The amount of environment damaged in various parts of the world is inseparable from the inability of humans to respect nature (low respect to nature) and the lack of moral responsibility towards nature (low responsibility for nature).
Respect for the environment is part of Environmental Ethics. Humans are an integral part of the natural community which together with other elements forms an ecological system.
Differences Human views on natural and environmental resources such as anthropocentrism, biosentrism, ecocentrism and ecofeminism are the causes of differences in individual characteristics and collectively in respecting the environment.
Antropocentrism where all activities and policies are self-centered. Nature is considered as an element of fulfilling exploitative human needs. Causes exploitation of natural resources and minimal conservation efforts.
Greedy exploitation of natural resources such as illegal logging, mining, exploitation of waters resulting in catastrophic flash floods, landslides and pollution of the aquatic environment.
